DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Greetings, SEAHO! It is an honor to be among a talented slate of candidates
for the Director of Communications role. If it were not for the people before
me and the foundation in which they created, I would not be where I am today.
I consider SEAHO my professional home and I would be elated to continue to
serve the association in this capacity. Since I joined the region in 2015, I have
worked behind the scenes to promote #SEAHOallyear. I know first-hand how
critical it is that we refine our brand and expand our footprint. SEAHO needs
consistency and a critical lens to push our association forward. The 2020 - 2025
SEAHO Strategic Plan highlights many initiatives that fall under the scope of
the Director of Communications. If entrusted with this opportunity, I would specifically like to accomplish the
following goals:
* Broaden our reach and impact of the membership area (Initiative 3.2) by creating a timeline of critical
communication needs and expanding our marketing strategies.
* Create opportunities for meaningful engagement (Initiative 3.4) by evaluating and aligning all forms
of technology (social media, website, SEAHO swag store, SEAHO Report, etc.) to mirror the SEAHO
brand.
* Engage on a national level to promote SEAHO's identity (Initiative 4.2) by creating a SEAHO
branding guide that outlines professional standards for marketing and communication purposes. This
will be a great asset for creating consistent, on-brand content.

SEAHO has been a transformative professional development experience for me. It is my hope that I can
be an inspiration to others by bridging clear communication and consistency through the Director of
