The University of Alabama hosted the ALAHO State
Meeting, " Restart and Renew on October 10, 2024.
The " Friendliest Campus in the South " , Jacksonville
State University, will be hosting " RADICAL - Sweet

Mississippi
Mississippi is preparing for its annual conference
this November, hosted by Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College. Mississippi Association of
Housing Officers (MAHO) is excited to welcome
delegates to the coast for three memorable days of
learning, networking, and information sharing. During
the conference, elections will be held and the new
governing council will be announced. The positions up

The 2024 Georgia Housing Officers (GHO) Annual
Conference, hosted by Georgia Tech, brought
together professionals from across the state for
an unforgettable experience in the vibrant heart of
Midtown Atlanta.
With the theme of " Re-engineering Housing
and Residence Life, " this year's conference
delivered dynamic, housing-focused mainstage
educational sessions, equipping attendees
with innovative strategies and actionable insights.
Participants engaged in personalized coaching and
small-group discussions, fostering a collaborative
atmosphere of support, shared learning, and
impactful dialogue.
In line with a holistic approach, GHO seamlessly
wove wellness activities into the agenda,
offering energizing walks and revitalizing yoga
sessions to help attendees recharge. A true highlight
of the event was the inspiring keynote, which
explored the exciting world of generative AI,
presenting groundbreaking ideas that are shaping
the future of Housing and Residence Life.

North Carolina
North Carolina Housing Officers (NCHO) 2024 was
hosted at North Carolina Central University from
October 16-18.We released our 2025-2027 Strategic
Plan during our Business Meeting.
We released another episode of NCHO Podcast
centered around New Professionals and their
experience. Podcasts can be found on Spotify: North

The 2025 Student Leadership Drive-In will be hosted
at the University of North Carolina - Asheville on
Saturday, March 29, 2025.
