UPDATES AROUND THE REGION
Florida
The May SHO meeting will be hosted May 16-17, at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. Reach out to
flstaterep@seaho.org or Jessica Day (jday@stetson.edu) for additional information.
Our fall installment of the LEAP Student Leadership Conference will be hosted by University of Miami in
Coral Gables, FL. Dates for the fall LEAP are October 16-18. More information will be released soon!
Plans for the fall FHO meeting (November 6-8) are moving forward, and more information about registration
and site information will be released soon!
Georgia
The Georgia Housing Officers (GHO) will host their annual conference, the theme is, " Re-engineering "
Housing and Residence Life, at Georgia Institute of Technology in October 2024.
Voting is in progress for GRASS and GHO 2025 bid submissions
GHO accepting RELI Scholarship applications, deadline April 15th

Mississippi
The Mississippi Association of Housing Officers had an outstanding delegation present at SEAHO 2024 this
past March, with 39 registered attendees across 9 institutions.
MAHO is actively searching for a host site for the annual conference in Fall of 2024, and will begin searching
for a Senior Housing Officer Liaison to complete the 2023-2024 Governing Council.
