COMMITTEE REPORTS
Assessment & Research Committee
Our 3 teams have been hard at work developing assessment reports from the information gathered in the
2024 Member Needs Assessment, 2024 SEAHO Conference Evaluation, and RELI Assessment Instruments.
The information from the Conference Evaluation has been analyzed and submitted to the 2025 Host
Committee to utilize in all of their hard work and planning. Initial information from the Member Needs
Assessment was submitted to the Governing Council, and we plan on releasing information soon to the
general body. Lastly, we are excited with our partnership with the RELI team and will be finalizing the report to
submit to the RELI co-chairs in the coming weeks.

Awards & Recognition Committee
The Awards & Recognition Committee had an exceptionally productive inaugural meeting in May. We delved
into our committee's purpose, outlined our objectives for the year ahead, and brainstormed strategies to
streamline the awards nomination process for busy housing professionals. We are actively exploring innovative
approaches to ensure that the nominations process is straightforward and accessible.
Our committee reconvenes this month to finalize the timeline for awards submissions. Stay tuned for updates
in upcoming newsletters and SEAHO communications. One thing is certain: make a note in your calendar this
Fall to celebrate your colleagues by nominating them for a SEAHO award!
In other exciting news, the SEAHO Legacy Awards process has been revamped. These awards support
professional development opportunities for SEAHO members. At the recent summer Executive Board
meeting, the SEAHO Executive Board enhanced clarity by establishing a defined application window and
clearer guidelines, aiming for greater transparency.
The updated process will go live on the SEAHO Legacy Awards website on August 1. If you're considering
applying for a Legacy Fund Award this year, mark your calendar now. The deadline for submissions will be
November 1.

Career & Support Services Committee
Hello SEAHO! First, we want to recognize Theresa Franklin who has been selected as the new placement
subcommittee chair and chair elect! The Career & Support Services Committee works to provide resume
review and mock interview resources, plans SEAHO placement, and provides professional headshots at the
SEAHO Annual conference. You can request a mock interview or resume review by filling out the form here.
