SEAHO Report - Winter 2025 - 6
SEAHO REPORT EDITOR
Hello SEAHO!
I cannot believe this is my ninth and final edition as Editor for the
SEAHO Report. Looking back on the last three years, the SEAHO
Report Editorial Board has accomplished so much. I am not being
dramatic when I tell you I thought that the SEAHO Report was on its
last legs when Jeannie Hopper appointed me as the Editor during
her presidency in 2022. Like a phoenix, the SEAHO Report went
from non-existent back to its former glory of publishing four editions
a year.
If the SEAHO Report was a person, they would have run to the hills
if they saw someone like me step up to the plate. I do not have a
background in writing or editing, but I did have a love of reading.
I don't know if there was ever another chair that felt as wholly
unprepared as I did for this role. I agreed to step into the Editor
position because of my love for SEAHO. Little did I know what we
were about to become. To the delegation, a SEAHO Report comes out once a quarter. Behind
the scenes, we are the most eccentric group of individuals who manage to accomplish so much
and also spend so much time completely off topic.
I am so excited to pass the torch to our very first chair-select, Jillian Webber. This is really a win
for SEAHO because her writing and editing skills are leaps and bounds ahead of mine; like not
even in the same league. Even though I will no longer be the Editor, Jillian has made me swear
that I will help with our first chair transition and stay on a little longer to help in her time as Editor.
There is no one that I trust more to take up the reins of this publication. Congratulations to Jillian
on her position and to the delegation for having an incomparable new Editor.
Thank you to Cynthia Moberly for being brave and stepping into the chair-select role. I know
it is terrifying, but you (and the SEAHO Report) are in the best possible hands. To my original
committee members; Jillian Webber, Meaghan Sullivan, Kara Alspaugh, Joseph Welsh and
Ben St. Cyr, thank you for supporting the SEAHO Report from the start. The ashes that were
the SEAHO Report would have never become the phoenix it is now without your time and
dedication. To the members that joined us along the journey; Caroline Strohmeyer, Cynthia
Moberly, Meghan Roberson and Tré Brown, thank you for joining our little fellowship along the
way. Every single member of the committee brought something very special to the report.
I genuinely hope you enjoy this edition of the SEAHO Report. We have some great content
and very important news to share. Thank you to our authors, Committee Chairs and State
Representatives for their contributions. I look forward to seeing even more submissions in the
years to come. Signing off for the final time...
Sincerely,
Caitlyn Bolduc
