Dental Assisting, BioManufacturing, Emergency Medical Services, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology, Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Undergraduates 13,703 Student Faculty Ratio 18 to 1 Erie Community College (ECC) offers over 70 degree and certificate programs in the areas of health sciences, business and public service, liberal arts, and engineering and technologies. ECC is ranked among the top 100 two-year colleges in the nation in awarding associate degrees. Serving over 13,000 students, the College has three conveniently located campuses in Williamsville, Orchard Park and downtown Buffalo. ECC’s Vehicle Technology Training Center is the area’s only comprehensive postsecondary automotive-related training facility. ECC offers childcare at all campuses and a top-notch athletics program, which is highlighted by the state-of-the-art Burt Flickinger Athletic Center and a nationally-ranked football program. Transfer agreements with over 25 four-year colleges make it easy for graduates to continue their studies. ECC graduates enjoy a 90 percent job placement and transfer rate. ECC also provides workforce development opportunities to the community through jobspecific training and internships, and fosters cooperative partnerships with local businesses. ECC has had a major economic impact on Erie County and is a good investment of state and local tax dollars. Undergraduates 9,800 Student Faculty Ratio 19 to 1 Dutchess Community College, with a main campus on 130 scenic acres in Poughkeepsie and satellite campus in Wappingers Falls, offers quality and value for those interested in starting their four-year degree at an acclaimed two-year school, as well as those pursuing career-track programs. The College awards AS, AA and AAS degrees, as well as certificates in fields including human services, health, business, liberal arts, computer information and technology. Undergraduates 10,207 Student Faculty Ratio 17 to 1 The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is where creativity gets down to business. Known worldwide as the premier institution of fashion education, FIT is also a renowned college of art and design, business and technology, with more than 40 programs leading to the AAS, BFA, BS, MA, and MPS degrees. Majors span a wide range of fields, from interactive media and toy design to international trade and cosmetics and fragrance marketing. Each major includes a full liberal arts education, and study options include the Presidential Scholars honors program and study abroad. FIT's campus occupies a tree-lined block in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, global center of art, business, communications, and design.
