Jefferson Community College is located in Watertown, within 10 miles of Fort Drum. Whether your ultimate goal is to pursue your bachelor's degree or jump right into your career following graduation, Jefferson is a great place to start! Jefferson offers 30+ transfer and career degree and certificate programs, including six degrees entirely online. Student services to help you succeed include academic advising, transfer and career counseling, tutoring services, learning labs and personal counseling. The campus features wireless Internet access in academic areas, traditional and computer classrooms, a 100-station computer lab, distance learning technology, science labs, two amphitheaters, a 500-seat theater and a fully-equipped fitness center. The library and media center offers a variety of online resources and collections. Campus activities and events range from big-name concerts and comedians, to lectures, performing arts, and volunteer opportunities. They provide a vibrant college experience for students. Extracurricular activities include 30+ clubs, organizations and intercollegiate athletics. Jefferson enjoys a strong reputation in the NJCAA and competes in baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball. Jefferson—there's more here!

Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) is New York State’s first community college. We are on the move with a vibrant culture, tailored with academic programs for career and transfer, caring student services, and stateof-the-art facilities. Our Utica campus offers residence halls for 500 students, with classes also offered at our Rome campus and online. You can choose from more than 90 majors, including fine and graphic arts, business, digital animation, engineering, health sciences, hospitality, sports and recreation, education, criminal justice, technologies and trades, human services, and photography. Many programs are enhanced by agreements with four-year colleges, where all or most credits transfer. Together we pursue personalized education, complete with the latest technologies, tutoring, advisement, job placement, and transfer services. MVCC has more than 40 clubs and organizations and 22 championship sports. The MVCC Hawks have an overall winning record of more than 70 percent to go along with our 19 national team championships. The new Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic Center will feature practice space for track teams, basketball courts, and a 5,000-square-foot fitness center.
