Fredonia combines classic liberal arts with contemporary academic innovations and a distinctive "college-town feel." It's small enough to provide personalized attention from world-class faculty, yet large enough to offer numerous academic options and 80 undergraduate programs. We recently ranked 7th in the nation for four-year graduation rates among public comprehensive universities, and were named the 10th-best college in the North by U.S. News and World Report. We have been named a "Best Value" by Kiplinger Personal Finance magazine. Fredonia is committed to attracting a diverse and accomplished student body. We offer Division III athletics, internships, study abroad programs and over 130 student groups. Our fine and performing arts programs—open to majors and non-majors—operate in the beautiful Rockefeller Arts Center, which also hosts national and international artists. Other facilities include a modern library, 14 residence halls, student center, eight academic facilities, music complex, natatorium, ice rink, soccer complex and health center. Founded in 1826, Fredonia is less than an hour from the Buffalo-Niagara region, and three hours from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Rochester.

Geneseo is a highly selective, residential liberal arts college located in one of the most beautiful villages in upstate New York. The college attracts some of the most talented students from New York and beyond and is widely regarded as a public counterpart to the small, selective, private liberal arts college. Students consider Geneseo along with such competitors as Colgate, Hamilton, Vassar, Rochester and Cornell, because they understand that we offer everything you would expect at a first-rate liberal arts college—at a fraction of the price. The results, to date, have been impressive. Our students win major national fellowships, compete successfully for admission to the best graduate and professional schools in the nation, and never cease to surprise us with their accomplishments. They are, in short, every bit as ambitious and successful as their counterparts who graduate from the best private colleges. Every day, in nearly every way, Geneseo graduates repay the public's trust by distinguishing themselves in their careers and communities. We are here for you—ready to help you hone your talents, shape the way you see the world and introduce you to some of the most interesting people you will meet. Check us out on the Web or come and see for yourself what's so special about our community.

New Paltz is located in a dynamic college town just 90 minutes from metropolitan New York. Our 257-acre campus in the stunning Hudson River Valley is settled next to the nation's oldest street. Our unsurpassed location offers not only an outstanding quality of life, but also world-class connections. Founded in 1828, New Paltz is the 99th oldest collegiate institution in the country. Rooted in our distinquished heritage is an intense spirit of imaginative inquiry. This spirit manifests as a creative environment of discovery that permeates campus. We provide one of the most open, diverse, and artistic places of higher learning in the nation and are committed to preparing our students to excel in the rapidly changing world of the 21st century. New Paltz is a highly competitive, fouryear college that delivers an extraordinary number of undergraduate majors in business, liberal arts, sciences, and engineering. We are particularly well-known for our programs in fine and performing arts and education. Every program resonates with our fierce dedication to engagement through impassioned teaching. Students here develop close mentor relationships that help them succeed, and find the opportunities and encouragement to connect with the world in meaningful ways.
