It's an indooroutdoor playground that's really geared toward learning. There's a water feature that kids can get into. They off er story time and diff erent craft classes too. " KUYA LORD KUY ORD " This is my go-to for showstopping Filipino lechon (suckling pig), specifi cally their lucenachon (Filipino porchetta). I also love getting their pancit chami (sweet and spicy noodles). Add prawns! " L.A. STATE HISTORIC PARK TE HIS ORIC ARK " My favorite park is Los Angeles Kuya Lord Descanso Gardens State Historic Park in Chinatown- it's nearly 33 acres of open green space. There's a track for runners and it has the best views of the skyline. I also like spending the day at Descanso Gardens in La CaƱada Flintridge. It's a really nice place to go for a walk or just be surrounded by nature. " MITSUW MARKETPLACE MITSUWA MARKETPLACE " If you're as obsessed with food as I am, you can't go wrong exploring the aisles at Mitsuwa in Torrance or a Super H Mart. Eye-opening stuff and you'll want to get everything. " HOLBOX HOLBO " At the Mercado La Paloma near USC, this restaurant (pronounced hole bosh) makes incredible Yucatan-style seafood. They do amazing agua chiles, ceviches, and grilled octopus tacos. The fl avors are really bright with a little bit of heat. Delicious stuff .
