PERSPECTIVES
ON LEADERSHIP
- K E N TAY LO R
One of the main takeaways from my 20-year run in the hi-tech world is the value of creating
and sustaining alignment within a global organization. The best leadership teams understand
that leadership development programs are the key to creating and sustaining the culture and
keeping employees both aligned to and engaged in the success of the company. Outlining
the expectations, language and approach leaders have in every interaction with employees,
customers and the community is core to meeting business goals. This consistency allows
employees to understand their environment and thrive with an awareness of boundaries and
expectations.
At Training Industry, we have been publishing the findings of our annual review of the top
companies in leadership development for more than six years now, with our 2015 Top 20
Leadership Training Companies list published in January of this year. These companies are
selected based on a thorough review of a detailed submission they make to our selection
committee. One of the areas of focus in that review is thought leadership. We felt it was time
to tap these great companies to develop a collection of perspectives from the companies that
set the bar in the leadership development segment of the training industry. These companies
have stood the test of time, representing some of the best known brands in corporate learning
and development.
LEADERSHIP

THE KEY TO
CREATING AND
SUSTAINING THE
CULTURE.
