The Food Science Division of Bio-Rad Laboratories offers a complete menu of tests
for food safety, cannabis, wine quality, veterinary diagnostics and water testing. As
a powerful alternative method, iQ-Check real-time PCR kits provide fast, qualitative
detection of major pathogens in a variety of complex food matrices and environmental
samples. The 96-well thermal cycler has a small footprint and is well suited for both low
and high-volume users. Our iQ-Check Prep Automation Solution, adopted by the USDA
FSIS for STEC testing in 2018, is designed for maximum flexibility and traceability, is
optimized for higher throughput labs providing true reliable walk-away automation,
sample verification, liquid level monitoring, bi-directional LIMS integration and remote
support via BRiCare. As a complete solution provider, we also offer enrichment media,
RAPID'Chromogenic media and antisera for easy bacterial screening, detection,
identification and quality indicator enumeration. The latest addition to the food testing portfolio in 2018, Droplet Digital PCR, offers a
disruptive solution for STEC screening and confirmation.
