Utah’s largest freshwater lake provides fishing access for channel catfish, walleye, white bass, black bass, and several different species of pan fish. The park provides major access to the 96,600-acre lake for fishing, boating, sailing, canoeing, and has excellent camping and day-use facilities.
16 WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK

Points of interest lead visitors into the legend and history of the Fremont culture as depicted through pictographs, petroglyphs, and other cultural and historic resources.
3 GOBLIN VALLEY STATE PARK

Located in the heart of Dinosaurland, beaches, boating, and water-skiing top the list of activities at Steinaker. Visitors enjoy year-round fishing for rainbow trout and largemouth bass. An added bonus is quiet secluded campsites overlooking the water.

Year-round adventure awaits – golf, hiking, biking, camping, horseback rides, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are all available at Wasatch Mountain. During the warmer months, reserve a tee time at the popular Wasatch Mountain, and Soldier Hollow golf courses.
17 WILLARD BAY STATE PARK
Intricately eroded hoodoos greet visitors to this unique valley. People are invited to hike among the rocks in this photographers’ paradise. Nearby is the San Rafael Swell where OHV enthusiasts find dirt roads to explore.
4 GREEN RIVER STATE PARK
This Is The Place Heritage Park includes “Old Deseret Village,” a living history museum that recreates a 1850s Mormon community. An audio presentation and three-wall mural portraying the 2,000-mile migration of LDS settlers are also featured.

Journey back in time to a prehistoric world in this park’s renovated museum. Kids can become amateur paleontologists by uncovering and identifying fossils. Exhibits and activities for all ages are available.
Willard Bay rests adjacent to the Great Salt Lake. 9,900 acres of fresh water provide boating, waterskiing and year-round fishing for crappie, walleye, wiper, and catfish. North and South Marinas, are available with campgrounds. During winter months, Willard Bay is a wildlife watching area for nesting eagles.

The park is an oasis on the bank of the Green River where tall cottonwood trees shade manicured lawns and a nine-hole golf course. An embarkation point for river trips, it is also a good base for seeing southeastern Utah.

Huntington State Park is a beautifully landscaped park that offers boating, swimming, and fishing on Huntington Reservoir. Sandstone cliffs and peaks make a spectacular backdrop.
