HISTORIC GOLD TOURS - At Argo Gold
Mill & Tunnel, see what a working mill that
processed more than $100 million dollars of
gold ore looks like. A gondola connecting to
an amphitheatre, large outdoor decks, and
an outlook are being added to this favorite
attraction. Not far from Idaho Springs is
Phoenix Gold Mine, a working mine that
offers underground tours.
INDIAN HOT SPRINGS - There are a variety
of ways to indulge in the warm mineral
springs: men's and women's geothermal cave
baths, a swimming pool, indoor private baths,
and outdoor whirlpool baths. Add a spa treatment
for the ultimate in relaxation.
COLORADO ADVENTURE CENTER -
Find all sorts of adventures here, from rafting
on Clear Creek to eight ziplines that cover
nearly a mile and an aerial adventure park
with 60 elements, obstacles and ziplines.
GEORGETOWN LOOP RAILROAD - Hop
aboard a narrow-gauge train that winds
through the mountains from Georgetown
to Silver Plume and back. Add an optional
tour of Lebanon Silver Mine, and check the
calendar for events like Wild West Days,
Pumpkinfest, Fall Colors, and Holiday Trains.
