Aurora Cultural Arts District (ACAD) is
dedicated to bringing the Aurora community
together, utilizing art and collaboration as
the catalysts. Check out
these art-focused

Fanfare around the district as part of Athena
Project's " Curating Art for Impact " program,
which uplifts female artists.
The Colfax Canvas murals are located at
strategic points and add color and energy to
an already vibrant neighborhood featuring
a mix of shops, eateries, breweries, salons,
visual and performing arts organizations,
and other businesses. The talented group of
2021 mural artists included April Werle, Cal
Duran, Charlo, Danielle Seewalker, Denise
Dambrackas, Jahna Rae, Devin Urioste, Myke
G., Patrick Maxcy, Pharaoh One, Revery,
Rubezilla, Selah V Art, Markham Maes,
Skela, Spirit Pervades Matters and Yazz.
DOWNTOWN AURORA VISUAL ARTS (DAVA)
This community arts organization's mission
is to strengthen the community through the
arts with youth engagement as its primary
focus. Students from around the world pour
into DAVA's light-filled studios every day
to explore art and technology and build
problem-solving, critical thinking, and

VINTAGE THEATRE
As friends gathered over martinis, an idea
was born. Enter Vintage Theatre stage
right. Founded in 2002, Vintage Theatre is
Aurora's go-to for local productions, classes,
improv, and other performances. With
three stages as the backdrops for creative
pieces and contemporary classics, Vintage
Theatre is an ideal place for watching top local
performers in action. Some of the highlights
on the 2022 schedule include " Grace and
Glory, " " Shakespeare in Love, " " Cat on a
Hot Tin Roof, " " Blackademics, " and " Gypsy. "
Meanwhile, the Vintage Youth Program
is designed to enrich the lives of children
by offering classes and workshops with the
theatre's professional actors, directors, and
choreographers; artist in residency programs;
and professional touring shows for school
