CES Group, LLC to Offer NovaTorque
PremiumPlus+ Motors in its Fanwall
Technology Systems
CES Group, LLC has selected NovaTorque, Inc. as a motor
supplier for CES’ Fanwall systems. The two companies recently
signed a multi-year supply agreement.
“We are ever
striving to increase
the energy efficiency of our products,”
says Eric Roberts,
president of CES
Group. “Incorporation of NovaTorque’s motor
technology represents a significant
advancement in our
ability to deliver
that value to our customers.”
CES’ Huntair division’s R&D Director, Larry Hopkins,
said, “The improvement we saw moving from NEMA Premium
induction motors to NovaTorque’s PremiumPlus+ motor was
more than three times the improvement we experienced moving
from the Epact to the recent NEMA Premium standard induction
motors. The efficiency we can now get from a 3 hp NovaTorque
motor rivals that of a 40 hp Premium induction motor, making
our Fanwall architecture even more compelling.”
Driven by variable frequency drives, NovaTorque PremiumPlus+ ECPM motors boast motor-only rated point efficiencies far
exceeding the levels achieved with induction motors. Additionally, unlike induction motors, NovaTorque’s PremiumPlus+
ECPM motors maintain their high efficiency and high torque
over a very broad speed and load range.

The Global AC and DC Drives Market to Reach
$24.26 Billion By 2016
Research and Markets has announced the addition of the
“Global AC and DC Drives Market 2012-2016” report to their
offering. One of the key factors contributing to this market
growth is increasing demand for AC and DC drives from the
APAC region. The Global AC and DC Drives market has also
been witnessing increasing demand for end-to-end systems.
However, continuous decline in vendors’ profit margin could
pose a challenge to the growth of this market.
Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s
Engineering team said, “The Global AC and DC Drives market
is witnessing huge market potential for end-to-end systems.
Many end-users expect a complete solution for motors, drives,
and other products from vendors. End-users prefer complete
end-to-end systems from vendors rather than buying and installing standalone products. Vendors can help end-users to focus on
their core business processes by providing end-to-end systems
with accurate installation at minimal risk. Thus, many vendors
have started to provide end-to-end products and systems, which
help buyers to create a competitive edge over their competitors
in the market.’’
According to the report, one of the major drivers in the market
is the increasing demand for AC and DC drives from the APAC
region. Increasing urbanization and industrialization in the APAC
region increases the demand for low-voltage AC drives.
