Security - Products & Services Industrial Video and Control (IVC) has introduced the RD-MZ-3630-01, a rapid deploy wireless video solution consisting of a high definition color camera as well as an internal wireless radio. The camera is capable of transmitting over 30 frames per second of video in 1,280 by 1,024 resolution. It also comes equipped with an IR illuminator, allowing for clear, high resolution images from over 200 feet in complete darkness. The rapid deploy camera system can be placed for security surveillance purposes, to monitor a process system, or to watch over a machine, remote pumping station, pipeline, power substation or anywhere there is an immediate need for video monitoring. The system connects wirelessly to an IP network for remote viewing and recording under the control of IVC’s camera management software. The RD-MZ-3630-01 has secure clasping hooks, letting it attach to rails and walls up to 1-1/2 in. thick. The included antenna is mounted on an ultra-high-pull encased Neodymium-Iron-Boron rare-earth magnetic base for secure mounting to sites that may move or vibrate. The antenna is adjustable to allow a clear line of sight signal to the receiver. Weighing less than 22 pounds with the antenna attached, the RDMZ-3630-01 comes in a rugged, all weather enclosure equipped with a heater and blower. The unit is capable of operating in temperatures from -29°C to 50°C. The system comes standard with a Lithium Ion battery, capable of providing six hours of battery life. The charging adaptor is included. At the heart of the camera system is Relay Server software. This scalable, enterprise application provides a full range of camera management Industrial Video Debuts Rapid Deploy Video System and viewing features for up to 24 IP cameras. Camera video can be accessed over a LAN, WAN, VPN or the Internet from virtually anywhere, and can be connected by fiber, copper, satellite or encrypted wireless radio. Live and stored video can be viewed and controlled from anywhere on-site or off-site by authorized users from any networked PC. The Relay Server includes APIs for easy integration of live video into SCADA HMI screens. Videx has introduced the new CyberLock Flex System, a family of access modules that expands the flexibility of the CyberLock system and opens the door to a whole new world of access possibilities for water district facilities. Flex System modules meld with the key-centric CyberLock solution to bring smart padlocks, electronic locks and keys, and a hardwired door control system together under one access management structure. Behind the lock a software platform manages Flex System access modules, CyberLock hardware, and door controllers as one single access management solution. The Flex System Hub acts as a conduit between the software and the Flex System modules and door controllers. Flex System modules include weatherized key vaults and a selection of reader, input and display modules. Flex Key Vault modules allow electronic keys to be stored at points of entry and other indoor and outdoor locations. They can be deployed in environments that were never before viable such as a by the gate to a reservoir or well field site. Flex Input modules provide PIN authentication by numeric entry. Reader modules provide validation by RFID to gain access to a door controller or to open a Key Vault module. Flex Display modules provide feedback, instructions and warnings. Videx Announces the New CyberLock Flex System AvaLAN Wireless Systems, Inc. has released a set of 5.8 GHz long range wireless Ethernet solutions. This product line allows users to build line-of-sight, point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet connections that link fringe IP devices such as video surveillance cameras or other devices needing robust and secure high data rates. The radios are packaged in rugged and weatherproof die cast aluminum enclosures and are available in both directional and omnidirectional antenna configurations. The 5.8 GHz unlicensed band allows a maximum of 4 Watts EIRP in point-to-multipoint configurations for added range and interference penetration. The directional flat panel antenna version provides 23 dBi gain and is intended to serve as a subscriber unit. The omnidirectional unit provides 9 dBi gain in the horizontal plane and is designed to serve as the common access point. The flat panel antenna radios are also available as a pre-configured matched pair bridge (AW5800HTP-PAIR) for point-to-point fixed connections. Elecsys Corp. has released the zONeGuard, the most recent addition to the company’s SCADA telemetry product line. As cyber security requirements expand for the industrial data systems used within the nation’s critical infrastructure, the Elecsys zONeGuard provides a security solution for industrial communication networks that ensures both data encryption and authentication. The patent-pending zONeGuard system consists of a single host device combined with multiple remote devices. The zONeGuard host device is simple to interface with both current and legacy data acquisition systems 22 www.RemoteMagazine.com Wireless Ethernet Solution for IP Video Surveillance Elecsys Releases SCADA Cyber Security Product http://www.infowebcom.com/newsletters_form.php http://www.infowebcom.com/newsletters_form.php http://www.RemoteMagazine.com
