Broadcast Routing cont'd...
Ross Video's NK Series routers are
available in sizes ranging from 16x4 to
144x144. Any matrix type can be built
into a system with any combination
of other NK matrices, all united under
one control system.
Snell's Vega router is now available
in 2U and 4U frames supporting 96
and 192 respectively. Each port can
be set up as an input or output. A
multi-coloured LED indicates whether
a port is an input or output together
with its current status. Flashing red
LEDs indicate a configuration error.
Vega automatically identifies video
and audio cards, and port direction,
and creates a web-based control panel
displaying the current arrangement.
The web panel allows routing of video
and audio, as stereo or mono.

Sony's IXS router can handle HDSDI and SD-SDI, AES/EBU, and RS422A/RS-485 within a single chassis.
Operational features include tie-line,
virtual matrix and I/O protection.
Inputs and outputs can be freely
assigned on up to 16 levels. Both S-BUS
system and Ethernet control systems
are available.
Thinklogical's

an IP-based video infrastructure will
take place incrementally overtime.

high-performance
SPG8000A hybrid master sync
generator comes standard with
multiple independent black burst
and HD tri-level sync outputs that
meet the synchronisation needs of
traditional baseband video broadcast
or production facilities.
The instrument also incorporates
an optional, field-upgradeable IEEE
1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP)
grandmaster clock that enables
precise synchronisation of IP-based
production workflow.
