UNIT 6: COMMIT OVERVIEW STUDENT HANDOUT In this unit, students make informed decisions about which college, school, or program to attend and send their Intent to Enroll and deposit. RECOMMENDED PLACEMENT IN CURRICULUM Late March through May 1st. This unit is designed to occur after students have heard back from colleges but before Intent to Enroll commitments are due. Unit 6 may be inserted into Unit 5 at any point to accommodate the May 1st commitment deadline. DEADLINE ALERT: * Colleges must send their admissions decisions no later than April 1st, unless otherwise communicated. * Intent to Enroll and deposit must be mailed no later than May 1st, and sometimes earlier!
