Conclusion
The Expert Panel for Cosmetic Ingredient Safety concluded
that Tridecyl Trimellitate, Tricaprylyl/Capryl Trimellitate,*
Triethylhexyl Trimellitate, Triisodecyl Trimellitate, and Triisotridecyl
Trimellitate are safe in cosmetics in the present
practices of use and concentration described in this safety
assessment when formulated to be non-irritating.
*Not reported to be in current use. Were this ingredient to
be used in thefuture, the expectation is that it would be used in
product categories and at concentrations comparable to
others in this group.
