As the demand for training, coaching, and consulting
for clergy leaders and congregations continues to increase,
we have been fortunate to partner with a number of new
consultants to provide services.
Jimmy Elsner is a spiritual director
informed by the Christian mystical
tradition. He draws from frameworks such
as St. Ignatius Rules of Discernment,
St. Teresa's Interior Castle, St. John of
the Cross's Dark Night of the Soul, the
Enneagram and more. He enjoys working
with younger pastors and individuals in
seasons of spiritual dryness.
Jon Heinly has ministered and worked
in various contexts over the past 19 years
including youth ministry, university
chaplaincy, hospital chaplaincy,
preaching, international development,
and on committees with Mennonite
Church USA. He has a bachelor's in
theology and youth ministry from Eastern
University and a Master of Divinity from
Yale Divinity School.
Jonathan Matías is a Latinx ordained
minister who founded a church and served
as a lead pastor and minister-in-residence
for twelve years in Northern Virginia. In
addition he has lived experience revitalizing
businesses, training in neurobehavioral
conditions, and is a certified church
consultant with the Society for Church
Consulting. Jonathan holds a Master of
Divinity Degree from Virginia Beach
Theological Seminary and a bachelor's in political science.
Jonathan Woodall is passionate about
helping churches thrive and church
leaders experience the joy of kingdom
work. For more than 20 years, Jonathan
has held positions in worship ministry,
campus ministry, and preaching ministry.
He currently serves as the minister of
the GracePointe Church of Christ in
Elizabethtown, and is also an adjunct
lecturer at Penn State Harrisburg. Jonathan holds a bachelor's
in Christian education from Rochester University, a master of
homiletics from Harding School of Theology, and a doctorate
in communication from the University of Memphis.

Meet Our New Clergy & Congregation Care Consultants
Our New Programming
This fall and coming spring our Clergy & Congregation
Care consultants will be offering three new programs/trainings
for clergy in various stages of their ministries. These programs
will take advantage of our recently upgraded smart training
room. Programs on the schedule include the following:
Pastoral Survival: Avoiding Burnout facilitated by Jonathan Matías
Learn important self-care habits for clergy leaders and
pastors, as well as warning signs of burnout and how to avoid
it, in this four-session workshop. You can register for the full
workshop or one session.
Life Cycles of the Congregation facilitated by Jonathan Woodall
Explore the phases of a congregation's life cycle with this
four-session workshop, and learn how to approach each phase
with wisdom in order to create a healthy faith community.
You can register for the full workshop or one session.
Youth Ministry for Today's Teenagers facilitated by Jon Heinly
Learn how to better understand and serve the youth in
your faith communities, as well as what to prioritize and how
to best support them in this season of their lives. You can
register for the full workshop or one session.
Fall classes are currently underway, and the spring schedule is
