INCLUSION & BELONGING TRAINING
An introductory DEIB training that provides insights and offers a safe, neutral space for your organization to
create a common, shared language. These five, 90-minute sessions are designed to foster respectful
communication, a celebration of differences, and a healthier, more inclusive organization.
An Overview
of DEIB
Creating a common
vocabulary, an
introduction to bias,
and looking at
demographics, facts
and numbers of
diversity, equity,
inclusion and
belonging.
Race & Color
Exploring general
human differences,
historical
manipulations of
race concepts, race
and color in the
U.S., and a
discussion on
implicit bias.
About The Program & Facilitators
This workshop was developed by Partnering Consultant David Nice, who holds a master's degree in
organization development from Saint Joseph's University and received extensive training in diversity,
equity and inclusion during his time with YWCA Lancaster. Each workshop will be co-facilitated by two
individuals who have experience in a variety of industries, as well as different backgrounds, ethnicities, etc.

Culture
Understanding how
your culture serves
as the code that
helps you
understand those
around you,
including exploring
how we accept or
reject differences.
Sexism
Discussing
expectations of what
is feminine and what
is masculine, as well
as power and
traditions at play,
and the patriarchies
and matriarchies in
our lives.
Gender &
Sexuality
Exploring the
dimensions of
biological sex,
gender identity,
expressions of sex
and gender, and
attraction, with a
look at traditions and
their implications in
the workplace.
