minister within that,
with an encouragement
to pursue self-care so
you can minister for
the long haul.

Healthy Church
Operations
Covers hiring and
onboarding church
staff, coaching
employees and
redirecting them
when struggling in
their roles, and how
pastors can develop
essential policies.
Session 4
Finding Safe
Friendships
Provides insight to
develop deep
friendships both
inside and outside
your community, as
well as offering an
option to join an
interdenominational
cohort.
About The Instructor
Jonathan Matías is a Latinx ordained minister who founded a church and served as lead pastor and also
minister-in-residence for twelve years in Northern Virginia. He has lived experience revitalizing
businesses, training in neurobehavior conditions, and is a certified church consultant with the Society for
Church Consulting. Jonathan holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Beach Theological
Seminary and a bachelor's in political science.
