my fellow technical experts on my

Dr. Piotr Bielaczyc
CITATION: Dr. Piotr
Bielaczyc, himself a
catalyst tirelessly
fostering international
collaborations, is
recognized for his
outstanding contributions
related to sustainable transportation
including development of R&D
methodologies and testing frameworks for
global emissions regulations, research of
fuel impacts on vehicle emissions as well as
development of advanced, low emissions
powertrain technologies.
COMMENT: " Being honored with an SAE
Fellowship is a fantastic summary of the 40
years of my professional engineering
career and my 25 years as a member of
this, the most important engineering
organization worldwide, which I recognized
as a big family and big pool of friends. It
was a great honor for me, as well as my

employer (BOSMAL Institute in Poland). It
is very important that candidates outside of
the USA are visible to SAE and that
candidates from relatively small countries
on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in
Europe, can be chosen. "

Dr. Jason Blough
CITATION: Dr. Blough is
recognized for his
research in sound and
vibration. He developed
the Environmental
Correction Factor used in
SAE J192 and SAE 1161
standards for snowmobile sound testing,
the widely used TVDFT order tracking
algorithm, and is Michigan Tech's SAE
Student Chapter and Clean Snowmobile
Advisor for 20 years.
COMMENT: " Attaining the honor of being
elected an SAE Fellow has been a very
humbling experience. To be in the company
of many of the past Fellows is a special
honor given the accomplishments of the
group. The honor also drives me to
continue to support SAE in any way that I
can and encourage my students to get
involved and stay involved to continue the
great and very important traditions and
accomplishments of SAE.  Hopefully, one
day one of my students will be recognized
as well as an indication of their lifelong
commitment to furthering the goals of
SAE. "
