Airmar's ultrasonic WeatherStation® instruments are rugged,
compact, maintenance-free multisensors for realtime,
site-specific weather information. They accurately
measure apparent wind speed and direction, barometric
pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, calculated
heat index, dew point, and wind chill.
Models with internal compass and GPS can also uniquely
calculate heading, position, and speed-over-ground, plus
dynamic true wind speed and direction - the wind relative
to North but also corrected for the speed and direction of
moving vehicles.
Airmar also develops
ultrasonic air
ranging transducers
for non-contact level,
proximity and distance
measurement, ultrasonic
flow transducers
for precise liquid flow
velocity measurement
in harsh environments,
and custom transducer
