Nominations sought for SAE Fellow
The newest class of SAE International
Fellows were informally " sworn in " at April's
WCX event in Detroit. Now it's time for the
new Fellows, and all Fellows from previous
years, to nominate outstanding achievers
for the next class. Any SAE member may
nominate an SAE Fellow.

The SAE Fellow Membership designation
is awarded to an elite group of
professionals who have made a significant
impact on the mobility industry through
leadership, research, publishing, innovation,
and volunteering.
Established in 1975, the grade of Fellow is
administered by the SAE Fellows
Committee. Election to Fellow is an
exceptional professional distinction

bestowed to a class of approximately 20
SAE Members each year.
Qualifications for SAE Fellow nominees:
* Must be a current SAE Member
* Must have either 10+ years SAE
membership service or 2 years of SAE
membership service and 10+ years of
volunteer service through SAE (ex.
technical or standards committee,
authoring a technical paper, serving as
an Industrial Lecturer, etc.)
* Must be current SAE Member or SAE
Fellow
All previous SAE Fellows are invited to an
annual dinner-ceremony where one by one
they receive a special pin and have their
nomination citations read as they accept
the pin on stage. n
