announced a groundbreaking partnership to accelerate softwaredefined
vehicles and smart mobility - a significant step forward
in the pursuit of safer, smarter and more efficient vehicles on our
roads.
No wonder: Europe's most versatile autonomous driving test
sites are located in Austria. Organizations and research institutes
have been testing automated vehicles in Austria since 2016. In
the federal province of Styria, for example, ALP.Lab offers a
continuous digital test chain in a comprehensive urban, rural and
highway simulation environment - including access to a fully
equipped test tunnel that is unique in Europe. If you are looking
for a test environment for commercial and transport vehicles,
Digitrans has 40 hectares with three public test areas and a closed
test track that reproduces various scenarios, from asphalt to offroad.

setting the pace when it comes to automated vehicles. From data
