its AD and
SD Series
thermal cutoff
mini-breaker devices. The company
states that these breakers deliver an
advanced level of resettable, accurate
and repeatable overtemperature protection.
The AD and SD series mini
breakers can be either surface mountable
(SD Series) or axial leaded/weldable
(AD Series). They also offer nonautomatically
resettable (self-hold) or
automatically resettable (non-selfhold)
function options. They are suitable
for a wide trip temperature range
from 55-150° C (131-311° F) and have
been tested by Bourns to AEC-Q200
equivalent test standards.

Clamping systems

Missouri) released
its new
Flexline I
4.0-ready rapid-clamping
system
for
presses and punches. The system is designed
for use in automated clamping
systems and industrial 4.0 applications,
where it enables predictive maintenance
and helps to stabilize the production
process and avoid downtime. The
company states that Flexline I 4.0-ready
continuously monitors the clamping
point and production process, allowing
for early detection of potential problems.
The system's modular design reportedly
makes it easy to retrofit to almost
any type of press and almost all
dies and is suitable for use in the automation
of press lines. Flexline I 4.0 features
a double piston, 19 mm (.74-inch)
clamping stroke and a travel speed of
up to 150 mm/s.

Melexis

Belgium) released
two
relative-pressure-sensor
ICs
which will
reportedly enable OEMS to make all
their ICE engine management applications
greener via a singular modular
technology. The MLX90823 (analogue
output) and MLX90825 (digital SENT
output) are relative pressure sensors
which can be used in gauge mode (versus
the atmospheric pressure) or in a
differential mode (with two variable
pressure levels). Unlike absolute pressure
sensors, they measure the pressure
difference between the two sides of the
sensor. These factory-calibrated devices
are intended to measure pressure spanning
from 0.1 to 1.5 bar.

SOFT SHIELD 3800 profiles
come in complex and unique non-rectangular
shapes and are an extension of
the conventional rectangular profiles
within Parker's existing SOFT-SHIELD
3700 series. Parker Hannifin states that
both SOFT-SHIELD 3800 and 3700 are
economical solutions to EMI shielding
and grounding for electronics applications
across various sectors and offer
100 dB shielding effectiveness in the
range 20 MHz to 10 GHz.
