Marposs

Michigan) introduced
an automated
system
for testing electric
motor components.
The
AST320/W system
verifies the
safety and performance
of
electric motors
via testing of windings, coils and stators of electric motors
in production environments. The AST320/W system integrates
the e.d.c partial discharge measurement technology,
based on capacitor coupling technology, for both AC
high Pot and surge tests. Marposs states that the advantage
of the e.d.c. partial discharge technology, compared
to traditional antenna-type solutions, is that the capacitor
coupling technique, while offering the same measurement
quality, is less sensitive to external noise and more suitable
for applications in production environments.

Ethernet PHYs
Microchip Technology
(Chandler, Arizona) announced
its family of
automotive-qualified
Ethernet PHYs. The
10BASE-T1S devices
with AEC-Q100 Grade 1
qualification include the
LAN8670, LAN8671 and
LAN8672. The
LAN8670/1/2 10BASET1S
Ethernet PHYs are functional safety ready and designed
for use in ISO 26262 applications. These devices enable lowspeed
connection to devices that previously required their
own communication systems into a standard Ethernet system.
The LAN8670/1/2 also enables the network edges to use
Ethernet and Internet Protocol (IP) to communicate with the
rest of the network infrastructure. These devices include PHY
diagnostics to provide the user with troubleshooting capabilities
as well as sleep/wake functionality for low-power modes.

Ethernet pressure scanner
Scanivalve (Liberty Lake, Washington) announced the
MPS4232 miniature ethernet pressure scanner. The company
states that the MPS4232 offers a compact form factor that
fits into tight spaces within wind-tunnel models, which simplifies
installation and minimizes interference with the aerodynamics
of the test setup. The MPS4232's ethernet connectivity
integrates into existing networks, enabling real-time
data acquisition and the scanner's compatibility with standard
data acquisition systems further simplifies the integration
process. Allowing engineers to seamlessly incorporate it
into their existing setups. Scanivalve also states that the
MPS4232 can adapt to various pressure ranges and configurations,
making it suitable for a wide array of applications.

EV charger
Delta-Q Technologies
(Vancouver, British
Columbia) released the
RQ700 EV charger for
light electric vehicles.
Delta-Q's RQ Series includes
the RQ350 and
now the RQ700, which
features a 700W power
output. The RQ700 is
available in 24-, 36- and
48-VDC options with a
12 VDC, 400-milliamp (mA) auxiliary power supply to operate
system components. Delta-Q claims that the RQ700 has a
user-friendly design complete with installation cables that are
tested and validated to ensure they meet industry and customer
requirements for cables and connectors. Delta-Q also
stated that this bundle eliminates the time, expense and effort
for customers to procure their own cables, adding convenience
for high-volume applications.
