Hydraulic-sealing material
Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (Plymouth, Michigan)
offers an alternative to traditional PTFE solutions with its 98
AU 30500 material. The material was developed as a hydrolysis-resistant
high-performance polyurethane that offers improved
properties for mobile hydraulic sealing systems compared
to conventional PTFE variants. The 98 AU 30500 features
optimized alignment of material and geometry with low
friction and gap extrusion, which reportedly translates to long
service life. These seals can replace conventional PTFE versions
for standard hydraulic operating conditions and can be
used in temperatures ranging from -25 to +120 deg C (-13 to
+248 deg F). The company also states that the material
makes previously unfeasible low-friction and hydrodynamically
optimized sealing geometries possible.

Bonfiglioli (Hebron,
Kentucky) offers a full
portfolio of electrification
solutions for off-highway
machines. The 700TE and
700CE are specifically designed
for one- to six-ton
mini excavators and have
been engineered to provide
high torque in a limited
space, with TCO reduction.
Bonfiglioli's lineup also includes the 700CTE, which
caters to the compact track loader market. The 700CTE is reportedly
equipped with a liquid-cooled permanent magnet
motor and a compact design. Large excavators can utilize the
709CE and 709TE, which are designed with a rating of 400
VDC to 800 VDC. These solutions are equipped with integrated
electromagnetic brakes and field-proven planetary gearboxes,
ensuring durability and reliability in demanding conditions.

Stainless-steel couplings
Kurt Hydraulics
(Minneapolis,
Minnesota) introduced
a new lineup of stainless-steel
couplings
for applications ranging
from marine hydraulics
to fertilizer
and chemical handling.
The company
states that these couplings
are manufactured from high-carbon grade 316 stainless
steel with high nickel and chromium content, which provides
resistance to chemical attacks and corrosion, along with durability.
The couplings meet or exceed SAE specifications and
are U.S.C.G. accepted. They are available in several fitting
styles including female straight swivel, 37-degree JIC female
90-degree bent tube swivel, 37-degree JIC female 45-degree
swivel, male pipe NPTF rigid and male pipe NPTF swivel.
