MEMBER NEwS Members of SAE's 2022 Top Contributor Class posed for this group shot after the awards ceremony. Eight 2022 Top Contributors were unable to attend the two-plus-day celebration. SAE international celebrates 2022's Top Contributors By definition, it's not for monetary reward that SAE's volunteers spend hour upon hour working gratis to advance the organization's goals. But for those volunteers who go above and beyond, SAE believes it appropriate to honor them in a very special way. That way is called the SAE Contributor of the Year program. In 2022, it concluded with a relaxation-themed two-plus-day 6 January 2023 volunteer-celebration event at a resort in the Florida Keys and with an affable and dedicated woman, Kunjan Vyas, being named SAE's top contributor. Vyas got the trophy, but SAE considers the other 30 nominees for 2022 Contributor of the Year to be winners in their own right. Bringing these especially effective volunteers together to network and otherwise enjoy each other's company sends the concrete message that SAE tremendously values its volunteers ... because it is nothing without them.
