SECTIONS SAE's top section leaders convene at HQ Thirty of the most dedicated SAE Section members from around the country - and from Mexico - recently gathered at SAE headquarters in Warrendale, Penn., for the 2022 SAE Section Officers Leadership Seminar (SOLS). Learning from each other about section operations and learning in depth from SAE staff about the tools and opportunities that SAE offers to support sections are the main goals of the annual SOLS. The twoday meeting, held virtually every other year, allows participants to air out concerns about their sections and to offer staff ideas to improve the overall sections program. Composed of 100 or more SAE International members in a defined technical or geographic area, sections offer an unmatched opportunity to connect with engineering and mobility experts, share ideas spanning industries and job functions, and give back to their local communities.
