ENgINEERINg EVENTS We've learned over the years that there is insufficient market size for a profitable business selling kits that require a pilot's license and an airport. While eVTOL captures the public imagination, they are unlikely to be a personal vehicle that can operate from many people's driveways. However, the promise of automated flight applies equally to fixed-wing aircraft and maybe key to broad public adoption of flight as a daily means of transportation. We are looking forward to future development of electricpowered, factory-built, and FAAcertified roadable aircraft. In the meantime, the latest progress on the prototype CaravellAir tail and tail booms was Partially developed land/air vehicle in the developer's Pasadena driveway. presented at 2020 Virtual SAE AeroTech and we hosted an industry open house in our 'shop' during the 2022 SAE AeroTech in Pasadena.
