Many organizations that are a part of the engine manufacturer supply chain are closely aligned with the activities afforded under this program. 36 March 2023 The Aerospace Standards Part Qualification Program (ASPQP) provides the standards for and leads the qualification activities of aircraft connectors and fasteners - literally the nuts and bolts used in aircraft construction. Established roughly 100 years ago, this body is the longest running program at SAE ITC, having been formed by some of the key mobility leaders at the time. Any description of the world of aerospace would be incomplete without the recognition of the involvement of Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA), Standards Development Organizations (SDO), specialized industry groups, and others.
