Call for presentations: SAE Thermal
Management Systems Symposium
The abstract deadline for the SAE 2023
Thermal Management Systems Symposium
(TMSS) has been extended to April 28.
If your abstract is selected, then you will
be invited to provide a complete
PowerPoint presentation (due June 15) to
the event organizing committee for review.
Those receiving the highest reviewer scores
will then be selected to present their work
in-person at the event scheduled for
October 3-4 at DeVos Place Convention
Center in Plymouth, Mich.

During this time of technical transition
and transformation to advanced propulsion,
it is more important than ever to have
access to timely, relevant information and
updates in the areas of cutting-edge
technology, standards, regulations, and
testing to inform and align strategic
initiatives. The ongoing goal is to reduce
engine emissions, conserve energy,
dissipate heat, reduce noise, improve the
cabin environment, and increase the overall
vehicle performance.
Only the SAE 2023 Thermal Management
Systems Symposium (TMSS) provides you
critical access directly to the industry's
leading experts who are ready to share
their latest innovations and solutions.
Presentations are invited in several thermal
management areas, including: battery
UPDATE
thermal performance, electric vehicle range
and charging impacts, cooling of electronic
components, ICE powertrain thermal
performance, emissions after-treatment and
waste heat recovery enhancements, compact
heat exchangers, cabin and passenger
comfort, refrigerant systems, heat
exchangers and intelligent control devices,
vehicle under-hood and under-body
temperature assessment and packaging.
The symposium will also consider the
latest developments in physical testing,
integration of cooling with climate control,
simulation software, and optimization of
control system strategies based on thermal
requirements.
At TMSS you will engage with engineers
from OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers, regulatory
entities, and other discrete part developers
from around the globe to discuss industry
trends, the latest thermal management and
climate control strategies, developments,
and systems integration, and still to-bedeveloped
technology impacting thermal
systems management. Here, you will have
the opportunity to communicate your
concerns, issues, and possible solutions
pertaining to current and proposed
regulations.
