architecture concepts using HyperMesh, NASTRAN, OptiStruct,
Abaqus, LS-DYNA, &n-Code Finite Element Analyses (FEA) tools.
Engr, perform, create, &execute linear, nonlinear, &quasi-static
nonlinear FEA of conventional ICE psgr vehicle &BEV closure syss
incl. hoods, liftgates, decklids, &front &rear doors, &Body in White
(BIW), &provide design recommendations to satisfy load case
metrics at virtual assessment gates. Use advanced CAE modeling
&anlys procedures to model, analyze &optimize closures syss in
compliance w/ U.S. FMVSS 214 Side impact protection standards
&reqmts. Perform closures &BIW structural stiffness, strength,
durability &dvlpmt of advanced vehicle structure concepts for
vehicle prgrms. Perform structural anlys on complete trimmed
vehicle structures, consisting of BIW, chassis, interiors, fixed
glass, bumpers, modules incl. Condenser Radiator Fan Modules,
battery modules, &closures. Conduct topology optimization
to identify architectural load paths to close gap to reqmts
&implement enablers into math released. Master, Mechanical
Engrg, Automotive Engrg, Machine Design, Aerospace Engrg, or

dvlpmt of closures incl. hood, liftgate, &side door subsyss &body
