&optimize Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Electric Drive Unit (DU)
&inverter to ensure feature &temperature, current, voltage, &motor
position sensors diagnostic functionality &robustness. Analyze
large sets of data collected during BEV driving maneuvers in
simulation, dynamometer, &in vehicle, tune the sys response
through calibration &identify areas requiring a change in controls
utilizing Calibration Standard Work. Calibrate, test, verify vehicle
performance, &validate BEV propulsion syss in-vehicle &on test
bench using dSPACE Hardwr &Softwr in the Loop, using CoSimulation,
MATLAB, Simulink, ETAS INCA, ETAS Measure Data
Analyzer (MDA), AVL CRETA, Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape,
&Vehicle Spy tools, &neoVI FIRE &FIRE 2 hardwr. Collaborate
with algorithm/softwr &hardwr engrs. Decode complex control
algorithms using embedded C/C++ &Simulink models. Deliver
motor diagnostic calibrations to ensure feature &diagnostic
functionality &robustness according to internal standards. Validate
drivability matrices &support testing &validation field trips for high
altitude, hot &cold weather propulsions syss testing in MI, AZ, NV,
& UT. Required U.S. travel to perform propulsions syss testing, ~4
wks P/A. Bachelor, Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engrg. 24
mos exp as Engineer or related, calibrating &testing DU or gasoline
