It's no secret that Tesla recruits from
Formula SAE events-the company's
recruiting and engineering teams attended
both the May and June Formula SAE events
in 2023, in addition to hosting a Formula SAE
x Tesla EV workshop in September. Although
extracurriculars aren't a requirement to apply,
intern or job applicants can leverage that
experience to make their resumes stand out
above the rest.

Graduates: Continue your SAE journey
with a professional membership
Is 2024 your graduation year? Then you may want to consider a
professional membership with SAE International.
Students who choose to continue their SAE membership at the
professional level within 12 months of graduation qualify for reduced dues
for the first four years:
* First year: Free
* Second year: $50
* Third year: $70
* Fourth year: $95
* Fifth year: $125 (full dues)
Note that these rates are only available to student members who
actively choose to continue their membership within 12 months of
graduation. Students competing in a University Program should not
change their status to professional membership until their competition
season has concluded. n
