Modeling Capabilities
Convergent Science announced its new
CONVERGE 4 CFD software that expands
on the modeling capabilities of previous
versions and includes new solver options
that provide enhanced simulation speed
and accuracy. New features include UnderRelaxation
Steady solver, which has demonstrated
a speed-up of up to 100 times for
certain steady-state simulations. Chemistry
and combustion models have been enhanced,
to simulate alternative fuels more
effectively such as hydrogen and ammonia.
