PXIe controllers
Pickering Interfaces (Clacton-on-Sea,
United Kingdom) announced a next-generation
single-slot PXIe embedded controller,
the model 43-920-002. Pickering states that
in addition to giving customers a unique
and powerful new option for their controller choice, it enabled
Pickering to provide 'one-stop shop' turnkey PXIe systems consisting
of chassis, embedded controller (optionally loaded with
Windows OS and Pickering drivers), switching/simulation/instrumentation
modules. The unit also allowed Pickering to offer
an embedded controller for its 21-slot PXIe hybrid chassis, which
only has a single controller slot. The PXI-5 PXI Express hardware
specification, rev. 2.0 compliant controller is powered by an 11th
generation Intel Xeon processor, combined with 64 GB DDR4
memory and a 2 TB m.2 Type B SSD.

Sealing foams
RAMPF Group's (Wixom,
Michigan) polyurethane-based
sealing foams and casting resins
provide effective, long-lasting
protection for filters and filter elements
in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and hydraulic systems.
RAMPF states that their automated mixing and dispensing
systems ensure fast, precise sealing, casting and bonding of reactive
resin systems used for filter manufacturing. RAMPF also offers
casting resins to securely bond filter elements, such as end
caps, to the filter frame. These silicone-free systems offer good
mechanical strength, flow characteristics and superior adhesive
properties. Thanks to their strong adhesion to plastics, particularly
ABS and PS, the connecting bridges of the filters can function
as supporting elements, significantly enhancing the stability
of the filter components.

Current transducers
Danisense (Taastrup, Denmark) offers
a range of current transducers with
voltage output designed to streamline
the workflow for engineers utilizing
data acquisition systems. Danisense
states that these devices integrate the burden resistor directly
into the current transducer, mitigating the risk of miscalculations.
With a single datasheet, users can reportedly commence
precise and reliable current measurements in their specific applications.
The DS, DM and DL series current transducers with
voltage output offer users reliable and accurate options for
precise measurements of AC and DC currents from 55A up to
3000A. The products are suited for a wide range of applications,
particularly in harsh environments and high-temperature
settings such as e-mobility, solar and wind energy.
