meet the UL 2237 standard for North
American power applications. The new
parts are available within the company's
824/823 product series. This includes five-pin male and female
panel-mount parts featuring screw locking with a protection level
of IP68. Features include mating cycles of >100, a crew locking system,
and wire gauge of AWG16 and AWG14.

n High-Efficiency Power Supplies
Highly compact power supplies are available
from Cosel Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.
Using advanced technologies such as wide
bandgap Gallium Nitride semiconductors,
high-frequency planar transformers,
and enhanced flyback topology, the TE series has a 45W (TECS/
TEPS45F) and a 65W (TECS/TEPS65F) fitting into 1×2.3 (TEPS) or
1×3 (TECS) inch footprints. The 12 and 24 V output versions can deliver
140 percent power to sustain peak loads with an outstanding efficiency
of up to 93.5 percent. Two versions, either with pins (TEPS)
or connectors (TECS) are available with compatible footprints to
ease system upgrades. Standard products are delivered as an open
frame though an optional dust protection case will be available.

medical-grade, two-part epoxy
that combines toughness
and a low tensile modulus while still providing a
relatively high lap shear strength. It meets the requirements
of ISO 10993-5 testing and is therefore considered
to be non-cytotoxic. EP40Med resists sterilization to gamma,

n AC-DC Modules
XP Power, Singapore, has released a family
of single output, PCB mounting AC-DC power
modules with power ratings from 3 to 40 W.
The modules are designed to offer easy integration
into BF (body floating) applications. The MCE family comprises
four series (MCE03, MCE10, MCE20, and MCE40) offering 3, 10, 20,
and 40 W of power. The modules can operate globally due to the universal
input range of 80 to 264 VAC. There are seven models in each series
(28 total) with a range of single outputs from 3.3 to 48 VDC. All units
are specifically designed for medical applications and carry worldwide
medical approvals such as IEC/EN60601, EN61000-4-x for EMC immunity
and EN55011 Class B (conducted and radiated) for EMC emissions.

n Power Entry Modules
Power entry modules from Schurter, Santa Rosa,
CA, feature a first-of-its-kind ingress protection
solution for IEC inlets, consisting of a seal gasket
between the connector and mating V-Lock power
cord. The series DG11 and DG12 are offered with and without mains
filter. The blue-colored latch of the V-Lock power cord and blue inlay of
the appliance inlet indicate that the two have been equipped to provide
an IP54 rating under load. The unit is screw mounted and rated IP67
between the power entry module and the panel. The modules include
a newly integrated IP54 seal between the inlet and latching power cord.

n X-Ray Inspection System
Rad Source NDT, Buford, GA, has released a new x-ray inspection system
for non-destructive testing. The NDT 1000 handles materials with thicknesses
of up to 0.5 in., including steel piping and welds, can be inspected in one
second. With an imaging speed of 24 frames per second (fps), it provides
rapid and accurate results. Engineered for diverse applications, the system
comes equipped with a high-resolution digitizing panel and monitor. No
external cooling system is required.

ITTIA, Bellevue, WA, has launched ITTIA DB IoT release 8.8. With
this new release, MCU applications embedded with ITTIA DB are fully
capable of ingesting and aggregating data, detecting anomalies, storing
information, and making choices in milliseconds. Flexible mix-andmatch
customization enables embedded developers to stream real-time
data, manage time series, and/or store table data. Streaming and time series functionalities are
able to process data at a massive scale to achieve measurable metrics.
