3D Position Sensor
TDK-Micronas, Freiburg im Breisgau,
Germany, further extends its Micronas 3D
HAL® position sensor family with the new dual-die
sensor HAR 3920-2100 for automotive
and industrial applications. It is designed to
meet the demand for highly accurate linear and angular position measurements
in the presence of disturbing magnetic stray fields. They are
suitable for applications such as accelerator pedal position or throttle
valve position measurement or as non-contact potentiometers.

Coriolis Flow Meter
AW-Lake's, Oak Creek, WI, TRICOR
Coriolis Flow Meters are being used to verify
that accurate amounts of fiberglass resin are
dispensed during the fabrication of molded
panels. Each meter was networked into a
multi-drop Modbus network connected to a
PLC-based monitoring system that utilizes the pulse output from the meters
to calculate flow for monitoring the resin-to-catalyst ratios in real time.

High-Sensitivity Accelerometer
With its new accelerometer series 8740A
and 8788A, Kistler, Winterthur, Switzerland,
presents IEPE accelerometers that combine
extremely low weight and small size with
minimal noise, for more accurate vibration
measurements. They come in ranges of 5g,
10g, and 50g and feature wide frequency response. They differ from
their predecessors in that they achieve their high accuracy and low noise
through a ceramic shear element instead of P-Beam technology.

MEMS Pressure Sensor
Melexis, Tessenderlo, Belgium has launched
the MLX90830, its first product to feature the
new Triphibian™ technology. This miniaturized
MEMS pressure sensor handles gas and liquid
media measurement from 2 to 70 bar. The
factory-calibrated device measures the absolute
pressure and delivers a proportional analog output signal. It makes the
module cost-effective by simplifying system integration into the latest
electric vehicle (EV) thermal management systems.

3-Axis Accelerometer
InvenSense, Chicago, IL, has announced its
SmartAutomotive™ IAM-20381HT high-temperature
monolithic 3-axis Motion Tracking
accelerometer for non-safety automotive
applications, such as navigation, infotainment
systems, telematics, and more. The
full SmartAutomotive non-safety product line is now rated at 105°C.
The new stand-alone 3-axis MEMS accelerometer is offered in a 3 × 3 ×
0.75 mm (16-pin LGA) package and is automotive-qualified based on
AEC-Q100 Grade 2.

space-grade EMI filters. Available in feed-thru,
Pi, L circuits in panel mount and surface mount
packages (SMT), the filters deliver high reliability
and durability in satellite systems, spacecraft,
antenna arrays, launch systems, orbital infrastructure, surveillance and
tracking, ground transmission, and ground communications and networks.
They are compactly designed with either feed-thru or Pi circuits
with ferrite beads to occupy less space on the printed circuit board.

300 GHz-Band Transmitter
A phased-array transmitter design from
NTT, Tokyo, Japan, overcomes common
problems of CMOS technology in the 300
GHz band. Thanks to its area efficiency, low
power consumption, and high data rate,
the proposed transmitter could pave the way for many technological
applications in the 300 GHz band, including body and cell monitoring,
radar, 6G wireless communications, and terahertz sensors. 300 GHz
transmitters/receivers can capitalize on low atmospheric absorption
and the potential for extremely high data rates.

EBE sensors+motion, LeinfeldenEchterdingen,
Germany, is launching an evaluation
kit for level sensors that has high precision
but is also user-friendly, with custom software
that allows users without technical knowledge
to achieve valid measurement results quickly and easily. The graphic
user interface provides a detailed description of the measurement values
collected via the sensor. Measured values can be recorded and saved in
common formats such as .csv or .xls.
