With Easter only months away, Walmart has placed another substantial order with Busken Bakery’s popular bunny face cookie. Production began on this order last December, with an anticipated rollout in mid-February. This cookie will be adorned with bold bunny faces outlined in black.

Master Confectioner Julie Bashore has set out to change the face of sugar arts with her newest venture, the Sugar Arts Institute. Bashore, who has studied and tought throughout the world, recognized a void in the industry for an accredited, standardized certiﬁcation program specializing in baking, cake decorating and sugar arts. The Sugar Arts Institute (SAI) ﬁlls this void and aims to unify the international edible arts community and raise industry standards of excellence. The SAI is a not-for-proﬁt designed as a ﬁve-year program that will offer certiﬁcate, associates, bachelors, or master’s degrees in sugar arts.

Consumers searching for local businesses on their mobile phones has grown 30% each year, creating demand for a service like Yext, which helps consumers ﬁnd businesses on the web and in local mobile searches. The industry is moving toward “realtime” information, and that is what Yext helps businesses do: drive physical sales in brick-and-mortar businesses.
