Kronen Model AS2 and AS4 Automatic
Apple Peeling/Coring/Segmenting machines to the baking industry. AS machines
can peel, core and segment up to 600
apples per hour. The apple is first peeled
with an adjustable depth-controlled knife;
then it is cored and segmented. Both models are compact, making them suitable for
tabletop use, and have easily changeable
segmenting attachments. The AS4 has the

NEW WALK-IN TRUCK NOSE
Workhorse Custom Chassis is giving
its walk-in truck line a new nose and front
grill that will clearly define it as a Workhorse truck. This exterior facelift is the
latest in a series of changes introduced by
the company. According to the company,
this design not only communicates these
changes that have taken place under the
hood but also that the truck can do some
heavy lifting. The initial model is now
available on an 86-in.-wide body. A 96in.-wide body will follow. Both models
have cargo body lengths from 10 to 22 ft,
are built on the full range of Workhorse
gas and diesel chassis options from 9,400
to 23,500 lb GVWR. Workhorse uses
General Motors 4.8-, 6.0- and 8.1-l Vortec

CONFIGURABLE DOUGH SYSTEM
The Menes 1.0 individually configurable dough string machine from Koenig
can produce puff pastry, Danish pastry,
angular and round bread rolls, ciabatta,
baguettes and other similar products. For
Koenig, it was a logical step from the machines for continuous dough string production for small pastries and breads to
the large-scale, industrial laminating machines. Components include the dough
