INGREDIENT DISPENSERS

BAG CLOSING MACHINE

The Robotic Vertical Packer from
BluePrint Automation features a
small footprint and patented highspeed collation method, and it now
allows virtually hands-free changeover
between different product and case
sizes. No manual adjustments need
to be made, and the packer is ideal for
handling fragile products such as bags
of chips and other snacks and flexible
packages. The case packer is able to
pack small bags at up to 120-plus bags
per minute. The unit collates product
into a group using its Smart-Trak system. The product is then picked by its
specially designed end-effector for auto-changeover. The fully servo-driven
robot ensures smooth placement of
the product into an intermediary auto-adjustable cassette.
Cases are tipped towards
the cassette, and the entire
stack is side-loaded into
the secondary container
for vertical presentation.
To run a different product or case size, the
operator simply selects
the product code from the panel, and
the end-effector and cassette automatically change over to the next bag and/

where tolerances are so close that
