reduced daily energy intake
New clinical research has documented a positive effect on
total daily energy intake when

ingredient?” discussed availability, benefits, technical
challenges, market expansion
and methods of delivery. It also
addressed ethical sourcing,

While consumer interest
for coconut water products is
strong, Mr. van Manen noted
concern that not all coconut
water beverages are labeled
correctly, with some products
having undeclared added sugar.
“There is a big market for
sugar added beverages,” he
said. “Much bigger than 100%
juice. But make sure to label it
correctly.”

brand products, recently announced several changes to its
leadership team for domestic
and international sales and
marketing.
Stephen Romero, currently
vice-president of international
sales, will transition to vicepresident of domestic sales.
Mr. Romero has been with the
