Entertainment icon Jerry Seinfeld's comedy
career took off after his first appearance on
"The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" in
1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with
fellow comedian Larry David to create the
most successful comedy series in the history
of television: "Seinfeld." The show ran on
NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous
Emmy, Golden Globe and People's Choice awards, was named the
greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide, and in 2012
was identified as the best sitcom ever in a poll by "60 Minutes" and
Vanity Fair.
Seinfeld has also starred in, written and produced movies, directed and
produced a Broadway hit ("Colin Quinn: Long Story Short"), and even wrote
a best-selling book (Seinlanguage) and a children's book (Halloween).
Seinfeld's latest project is the critically-acclaimed web series
"Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," which has garnered more than
100 million views. The New York Times describes the show as "a stealth
powerhouse" and "impressively complex and artful," and calls Seinfeld
an "online force." Variety calls the show "a game changer."
Seinfeld resides in New York City with his wife and three children. He
remains active as a standup comedian, touring the
country continuously.

Michael Eardley, "Growing the Future: What's in Store"
Mike Eardley, the CEO of IDDBA, has a lifetime
of hands-on experience in supermarket retail.
Working at his family's supermarket while still
in grade school created the foundation of his
dedication to the industry. He is a believer of
staying current within it, servicing expectations to the highest level, and evolving to meet
the ever-changing needs of our customers.
Through personal observation and discussion with other leaders, Mike
has identified six key influencers of the industry: food safety, community, people, consolidation, competition, and technology. These are
external issues and areas of focus that have major potential impacts on
the industry.
In this session, Mike will be discussing and applying four of the six influencers: food safety, technology, people, and community.

Chef, author, and raconteur Anthony Bourdain is best known for
traveling the globe on his stomach, on his TV show "Anthony Bourdain:
Parts Unknown." He has established a worldwide reputation that he
brings to the IDDBA stage as a professional gadfly, bĂȘte noir, advocate,
social critic and pork enthusiast.
Bourdain is the author of the bestselling
"Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the
Culinary Underbelly", a candid, hysterical,
and sometimes shocking portrait of life in
restaurant kitchens that has been translated
into more than 28 languages. His many
additional writings have appeared in The
New Yorker, The New York Times, The Times
of London, Bon Appetit, Vanity Fair, and dozens of other publications.
In addition, he has appeared on "CBS Sunday Morning," "Nightline,"
"The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late Show with Stephen
Colbert," "TODAY" and a host of other talk shows.
