Rise Baking Co. is jumping
on the edible cookie
dough bandwagon. Rise's
single-serving, grab 'n
go 3.5 oz dough product
comes in four flavors
targeted for c-stores. The
company also has plans
to roll out a 12 oz version
for grocery retailers.
Courtney Wilman, Rise's
marketing manager, cited
the rise of cookie dough
as a treat option at places
like New York-based DŌ, a
shop that offers a variety
of doughs and toppings.

Raley's has retooled its
prepared meal offerings. Raley's expanded
Ready-To-Go program
will feature 32 different
meals and be sold out of
grab-and-go displays in
stores' deli departments.
The revamped ReadyTo-Go also will include
new sizes and trays that
can be heated in microwaves or conventional
ovens. Ready-To-Go
was launched in 2010.

are marketed in 6 oz bags
and packed 12 to a case.
Winona is marketing the
bite-size pieces as perfect
