Ripley, Beebe, Hunter named to
new positions at Corn Products
WESTCHESTER, ILL. - Corn Products
International, Inc. has named three
executives to new positions within the
company.
James W. Ripley, formerly vicepresident and chief ﬁnancial ofﬁcer, was
named senior vice-president, planning,
information technology and compliance. In his new position, Mr. Ripley
will oversee and support the roll-out
and implementation of company-wide
strategic initiatives surrounding global

operational effectiveness and information technology. He also will lead the
company's corporate audit function and
compliance activities.
Mr. Ripley joined Corn Products in
1968 and has held numerous positions,
including corporate comptroller.
Cheryl K. Beebe was named vicepresident and chief ﬁnancial ofﬁcer with
responsibility for the company's global
ﬁnancial functions, including treasury,
tax, accounting, risk management, capi-

tal structure and ﬁnancial planning.
Ms. Beebe joined Corn Products in
1980 and has held various positions of
increasing responsibility in the areas
of marketing, market services, audit,
ﬁnance and treasury. Most recently, she
was vice-president, ﬁnance and corporate treasurer.
Corn Products named Kimberly A.
Hunter as corporate treasurer. Ms. Hunter, formerly director, corporate treasury,
in her new position will be responsible
for the company's worldwide treasury
functions. Prior to joining Corn Products
in 2001, she was with Bank One Corp. for

S. Gordon has been
named president of
the newly formed
Food
Packaging
Americas group at
Alcan, Inc.
Ms. Gordon previously was president
of Pechiney Plastic
Packaging, which was
acquired by Alcan on Gordon
Feb. 6. She had held
that post since joining the company in 1999.

He most recently was
president of Food
Packaging and Food

for Alcan. He has

 Peter Comline was named European
sales manager for D.D. Williamson at Manchester, England. Mr.
Comline for 14 years
managed
caramel
color sales for Cerestar; that caramel
color operation was
acquired earlier this
month by D.D. Williamson from Cargill,
Inc. Mr. Comline will
focus on customers in
the United Kingdom, Comline
France, Belgium, The
Netherlands and Luxembourg. MBN

 La Tortilla Factory, a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based maker of tortillas, named four
new managers. Stan Mead, who previously headed his own consulting ﬁrm, was
named chief ﬁnancial ofﬁcer. Robert Kelly

will oversee marketing and sales initiatives
as marketing director. Mr. Kelly previously held a similar position with a dietary
supplement manufacturer. Brian Waters,
formerly national sales coordinator, was

promoted to customer service supervisor. In
addition, Gary Starling joined the company
as North Bay sales manager. Mr. Starling
spent the past 22 years in various sales positions with a beverage company. MBN
