The right information, at the right time, at the right place
Control of a poultry processing operation is becoming ever more automated, for which providing good and clear information on the functioning of different part processes is essential. To that end, Stork Poultry Processing has developed a new module for its Innova control system: Equipment Monitoring.
Equipment Monitoring gives you on-line, clearly presented, real-time, information on the technical function and performance of your equipment. Warnings give you quick insight into variances within your process, so that you can take the necessary action in time. An alarm will show you immediately where there is a problem. Equipment Monitoring is the ideal tool to remedy faults quickly and improve the up time performance of your installation still further. Remote diagnosis Equipment Monitoring visualizes real-time and, in a uniform manner, in a convenient web-based application all information (including error messages) until now only available locally (LEDs in switch boxes, text display or touch screen). If acute problems occur, you can intervene promptly and arrange your maintenance more efficiently. Apart from acute messages, historical data is also available offering extensive options for reporting and analyzing processes. You therefore receive the necessary control information where and when you want it. The capability is easy to install and is available as an add-on for existing equipment. You can enter yourself what type of messages you want in which margins. If required, our Helpdesk operators can look with you into your system to give you further support. Connectivity with your system Equipment Monitoring can be fitted into your existing control system and will, of course, be fine-tuned to your production environment. All messages can be presented as part of your network on each PC, including the data bank, in which all events are recorded. The module offers added value to all processing plants and can be an alternative to an expensive SCADA system. Process dashboard – the future Equipment Monitoring is the first step on the road to a complete real-time process dashboard where all the information you need is presented to you in an easy-to-read format. Equipment Monitoring is available for almost all parts of the primary process. New functionalities are being developed all the time and can be added simply to your existing package.
