The combination and compatibility of equipment means that processing solutions from Nu-Meat are, indeed, unlimited. The company also conducts regular seminars with a leading university on food processing procedures and best practices. The emphasis with Nu-Meat’s product range, however, is on ‘industrial’. The customers is key to Nu-Meat’s philosophy. The company’s relationship with Metalquimia, the Spanish manufacturer of the world’s most durable injection machines, goes back to 1995. Metalquimia’s ‘spray injection’ technology has proven to be the only system capable of injection levels from 5% to 100% without any change to pump pressure, while the company’s QDS (Quick-DrySlice) system is a revolutionary dryingcuring process which has reduced the most time-consuming step of the traditional drying process of fermented sausages and dry-cured cooked meats by up to 30 days.

Partnerships are key
Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with both vendors and

Nu-Meat’s German-based equipment supplier, Inotec, manufactures vacuum and open hopper emulsifiers and a range of flexible sausage cutting systems. The Inotec Vario Mix, a mixer with a very gentle mixing action, features two interacting spirals which move in opposite directions, conserving food structure without compressing. The Vario Mix will treat the full spectrum of delicate to aggressive applications, but is particularly well suited for salami and ground meat products, vegetables, fish and seafood. Nu-Meat sources its suppliers from around the world, many of whom have been at the leading edge of developing

and perfecting new technologies for many years. Their network also includes Germos smoke and chill houses, Laska cutters and grinders, and brine mixers and storage systems from leading Italian manufacturer Menozzi. The quality of machinery is matched by Nu-Meat’s commitment to customer service. All installations are managed by experienced industry veterans, with support and training provided by technicians who have been working in and around meat plants for most of their careers. Add to this a fully stocked parts department and a highly knowledgeable technical service department, and Nu-Meat is ready to act swiftly and confidently to resolve every customer need.
